Ozark House Charm Bag
A limited run of eight Ozark house charm bags. These bags were empowered with prayers and blessings every day for the entire waxing moon cycle then sealed and consecrated on the full moon in Capricorn.
Ozark house charm bags are traditional talismans to protect the home and family from danger, violence, curses, and wandering spirits. These bags are typically hidden somewhere inside of the home near the front door.
Each bag contains traditional materia items, plants, symbolic ingredients, and charm papers. Instructions for maintenance of your charm bag below.
These Bags Include
- Lightning Wood: Auspicious materia of Jupiter used for protection and prosperity.
- Oklahoma Selenite: Earth element materia for grounding the home's energies.
- SATOR AREPO Square: Ancient magic square used for protection from spirits.
- 3 Nails: Materia of Mars, used as little spears and arrows to protect the family.
- Honey Locust Leaves: A source of protective thorns.
- Juniper Berries: Solar materia of cleansing and clearing energies.
- Red buttons: Symbolic of strength, vitality, and courage (the color of blood).
- Dried Corn and Beans: Food items symbolize nourishment and wealth.

Caring for Your Charm Bag
- House charm bags are normally hidden from view, the idea being that if anyone from outside the home and family sees it they can take away some of the power. Hide behind picture frames, inside vases, or anywhere out of sight.
- Recharge the charm bag's energies every full and new moon by touching the bag with a little alcohol (any 40% or higher), or your favorite essential oils. I like to use juniper or camphor oils, traditionally associated with protection and cleansing.
- Do not open your bag! These are sealed during consecration. Opening the bag will kill the amulet.
- If your bag begins to mildew (not common as long as they are kept dry) spray down with isopropyl alcohol and then let it dry out completely.
