Ozark Charm Bag - Protection from Divination and Evil Eye
A limited run of twelve Ozark charm bags. These bags are specifically empowered to help protect from divination magic and the evil eye. They were blessed with prayers and blessings every day for the entire waxing moon cycle then sealed and consecrated on the full moon in Aquarius.
These traditional Ozark charm bags are specifically formulated to help protect the home and everyone inside from spying eyes and divination. In Ozark folk belief, those who might mean you harm can use divinatory methods like tarot, runes, pendulums, etc. to gather information about you to use in curses. Charm bags like these help confuse or blur the information received. These bags also include materia to protect from the evil eye, a magical illness that originates in jealously or admiration and can manifest as sickness or bad luck for those afflicted.
Charm bags are typically hidden somewhere inside of the home near the front door. They can also be carried as a personal amulet.

These Bags Include
- Amethyst: An Aquarius stone used to create a barrier against psychic spying and the evil eye.
- Mountain Mint: Pycnanthemum albescens, a plant of Mercury and Venus. Breaks any psychic links someone might have created and attached to you.
- Sweetgum: Liquidambar styraciflua, a plant of Mercury and Saturn. Cleanses the home of spirits sent to spy on you.
- Sigil Paper: A specially formulated magical sigil created and empowered just for these charm bags.

Caring for Your Charm Bag
- House charm bags are normally hidden from view, the idea being that if anyone from outside the home and family sees it they can take away some of the power. Hide behind picture frames, inside vases, or anywhere out of sight.
- Recharge the charm bag's energies every full and new moon by touching the bag with a little alcohol (any 40% or higher), or your favorite essential oils. I like to use juniper or camphor oils, traditionally associated with protection and cleansing.
- Do not open your bag! These are sealed during consecration. Opening the bag will kill the amulet.
- If your bag begins to mildew (not common as long as they are kept dry) spray down with isopropyl alcohol and then let it dry out completely.
